Fitting type cable gland for HJT and overbraided corrugated conduit
Cable gland fitting with fixed or swivel male thread for overbraided nylon conduit. It is usable where there is a threaded hole, by screwing it directly, or a passing hole with a locknut on the opposite side. Manufactured in nickel-plated brass. It can be used where it is necessary to block a cable with a cable gland and to protect it contemporarily into an overbraided nylon conduit. The protection degree in compliance with EN IEC 61386 between the fi tting and the cable is IP68 and it is ensured by the thermosetting elastomer rubber tightened on the conduit and by the sealing bushing tightened on the nylon conduit. Finally, when the nut is tightened on the steel jacket, the whole fitting is fixed and it ensures a perfect mechanical resistance to traction, torsion and vibrations, as well as the electrical continuity.
