IECEx & ATEX Cable glands
IECEx and ATEX cable glands are certified cable entry devices designed to secure, seal and terminate electrical cables in equipment and enclosures installed in potentially explosive atmospheres. Euro 2000 manufactures metallic explosion-proof cable glands for different cable and conduit configurations, providing reliable mechanical protection, sealing and cable retention in demanding hazardous-area installations.
EMC and non-EMC cable gland solutions
The Euro 2000 range includes IECEx and ATEX cable glands for EMC and non-EMC applications, allowing the appropriate cable entry solution to be selected according to the construction of the cable and the requirements of the installation.
EMC cable glands are designed for applications where electromagnetic compatibility and cable shielding continuity are required, while non-EMC versions provide certified cable entry, sealing and mechanical retention without the additional EMC shielding function.
The range includes solutions for both armoured and non-armoured cables, as well as cable glands designed for connection to rigid and flexible conduit systems. Available configurations include double-tightening, single-tightening and simple-tightening cable glands, with male or female entry threaded connections.
