Flexible Metal Conduits IECEx & ATEX
Euro 2000 Ex flexible metal conduits are manufactured and certified in accordance with the applicable requirements of ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and the IECEx system for equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres. The relevant products comply with applicable standards in the EN / IEC 60079 series, including requirements for equipment used in explosive gas and dust environments.
A key feature of the Ex DMC-series is its antistatic coating, developed for ATEX applications where control of electrostatic charges is required. In accordance with IEC/EN 60079-0, Section 26.13, the surface resistivity requirement is < 10⁹ Ω, helping to reduce the accumulation of electrostatic charges on the conduit surface.
