Conduit type Ex DMC
Pliable hot deep galvanized steel conduit, reinforced clutch, recovered of smooth anti-static PVC heavy bore coating well anchored to metal conduit. It is resistant to high and low temperatures, with an exercise range -40°C to +105°C, and 120°C for short periods. Very suited where is necessary a strong mechanical resistance and an excellent resistance to traction, torsion, compression and particularly advised for high and low temperatures and in presence of high temperature’s change. The EX DMC conduit was developed for all those applications in ATEX areas at risk of explosion, where it is necessary to use a conduit coated with antistatic material. Reference to the norm IEC / EN 60079-0 (Section 26.13): surface resistivity requirement of < 10^9 Ohm. With the use of the EX DMC conduit, the possibility of accumulation of electrostatic charges on the surface is completely excluded which, in the event of discharge by contact, could give rise to the formation of sparks. Ex-DMC connect with RPM-N / RPF-N fitting cable glands. It is used in systems, machinery, control panels, in IECEx and ATEX zone 1, zone 2, zone 21, zone 22 in combination with RPM-N and RPF-N cable gland fittings, in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and oil and gas industries. High resistance to aging, to a wide range of oils and to a lot of acids used in industries Self-extinguishing according to norms CEI EN 61386.

Salt Spray and Salt Fog Testing: UNI EN ISO 9227:2017 (NSS). Periodic tests on each production lot relating to traction at 1000 N and compression at 1250 N in accordance with the EN IEC 61386 standard on all closed systems consisting of conduits and fittings and cable gland fittings.
