Fitting type cable gland AM RP MG

Fitting cable gland with swivel male thread for flexible conduit IP66/IP67/IP68. It can be used wherever it is necessary to block a cable with a cable gland and to protect it, at the same time, into a covered flexible metal conduit. The thread swivel is useful for installations that need to support the continuous movement of the conduit together with cables (torsion or movement). It can be used wherever there is a threaded hole, by screwing it directly or a passing hole by means of a locknut on the opposite side. They are made up by nickel-plated brass and IP rating, certified according to norms EN IEC 61386, between fitting and cable is IP66 / IP67 / IP68 and it is assured by a thermosetting elastomer rubber that tightens on cable and by sealing ring that tightens on conduit when you tighten nut, so that you can assure a perfect mechanical resistance to traction, torsion and vibration. Instead the electrical continuity is assured by an internal ferrule screwing on the internal metal structure of the conduit and covers the whole edge of the flexible conduit to protect cable passage.

Quality controls

Salt Spray and Salt Fog Testing: UNI EN ISO 9227:2017 (NSS). Periodic tests on each production lot relating to traction at 1000 N and compression at 1250 N in accordance with the EN IEC 61386 standard on all closed systems consisting of conduits and fittings and cable gland fittings and traction test (cable anchoring for unarmoured cable - cable retention class B) and shore tests for the sealing rubber in accordance with EN / IEC 62444 on all closed systems consisting of cable glands.
